Logistics Support Specialist
Work Schedule / Availability:
Standard duty hours: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday
Additional hours: evenings and weekends as required to support scheduled programs, tours, and special events.
Role Description:
Provides logistics, property accountability, and facilities support services, including acquisition assistance, receiving, inventory control, warehouse management, and coordination of facility repairs. Performs DMLSS data operations and reporting, develops and maintains SOPs, and uses Microsoft 365 tools to track actions and support day-to-day operational coordination. This position will also act as the on site POC, or Contract Manager.

Qualifications:

Education / Experience / Certifications:
Experience: Minimum 4+ years supporting logistics, warehouse operations, facilities support, receiving, inventory control, and/or property accountability. Experience writing SOPs and training others on processes.
Systems:
Demonstrated hands-on experience with DMLSS including transactions/data entry and reporting (required).
Technical:
Expert proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to support deliveries and event logistics activities as required.
Tools / Technical Skills:
DMLSS transaction processing, reconciliation, and reporting.
Inventory and warehouse workflows; receiving/shipping documentation practices.
Microsoft 365-based tracking and reporting (spreadsheets, shared files, task coordination).
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work at computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on computer and/or related office equipment. May be required to stand/walk, grasp, reach, stoop/kneel/crouch, or climb/balance. Occasionally required to drive to other locations. Must have clarity of vision, three-dimensional vision, precise hand-eye coordination, and ability to identify and distinguish colors in order to observe and inspect construction sites.
